Director, Demand Generation

Validately is looking for a highly analytical, data driven marketer with a track record of success planning, developing, and executing lead generation campaigns across multiple channels.

As the Director, Demand Generation, you will define our marketing strategy, optimize our conversion funnels, and develop new ways for Validately to generate highly qualified sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong worth ethic, be highly motivated, curious, a team player, entrepreneurial, goal oriented, and have a passion for technology.

At Validately, expect a fast-paced work environment that fosters and requires great personal autonomy and a true ‘self-starter’ attitude. We are a rapidly growing, well funded startup that 3.3x revenue last year and is Cash Flow positive. We are doubling our team this year. Our culture is built on experimentation and collaboration.

The role is based at our New York City headquarters and reports to the CEO/Founder.

Responsibilities

  • Drive all lead generation campaigns utilizing email marketing, content marketing, SEM, SEO, social media/PPC, nurture programs, and other channels to drive qualified sales opportunities
  • Create, manage, and monitor the performance of all efforts, including defining KPI and ROI for all campaigns, understanding CAC, and tracking progress towards quarterly objectives
  • Collaborate with Content Marketing and Client Success teams to create captivating sales collateral and nurture campaigns to increase platform usage and expand our reach with existing customers
  • Create reports and dashboards in our CRM (Salesforce) and review results during weekly standup meetings
  • Develop and execute a marketing automation and lead scoring strategy
  • Conduct user research on a regular basis and perform iterative testing on all marketing collateral to develop best-in-class results and optimize ROI
  • Support company efforts to expand business into new industry verticals

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years demand generation experience, ideally at fast-growth B2B SaaS company
  • Startup experience preferred but not required
  • Outstanding written/verbal communication and listening skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Proficient with Salesforce Sales Cloud and marketing technology, including automation tools (HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, etc)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Director of Content Marketing

As the Director of Content Marketing, you will be accountable for creating engaging content that creates brand awareness, generates leads that become highly-qualified sales opportunities, and increases customer retention. The ideal candidate will have outstanding written communication skills, the ability to manage partnerships, a strong work ethic, a team player, entrepreneurial, goal oriented, and have a passion for technology.

  • Own our Validately.org initiative, which seeks to connect motivated professionals looking to leverage their skills and knowledge on building great products to help exceptional entrepreneurs create world-changing digital products
  • Develop video tutorials, case studies, blog posts, and other engaging content that increases platform usage and customer retention
  • Collaborate with our Director of Lead Generation on paid advertising campaigns, sponsorships, SEO/SEM, live events, and other various marketing campaigns
  • Publish a bi-weekly newsletter and monthly product update to be sent to our customers and lead database
  • Develop and update onboarding materials for new customers
  • Measure and optimize all campaigns on an ongoing basis and review results during weekly standup meetings
  • Conduct user research on a regular basis and perform iterative testing on all marketing collateral to develop best-in-class results and optimize ROI
  • Build and manage a team of creative freelancers, including designers and writers, to create key deliverables of your campaigns

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years content marketing experience, ideally at fast-growth B2B SaaS company
  • Startup experience preferred but not required
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of SEO, SEM, and social media advertising platforms
  • HTML/CSS experience preferred but not required
  • Graphic design experience preferred but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree

Director of Product Design

Validately is looking to hire a Product Designer who is excited about the opportunity to help change the future of user research and team collaboration, for a startup that just tripled revenue and is also cash flow positive!

We’re looking for an exceptional designer with experience designing for B2B and B2C, with a high level of curiosity and deep passion for research.

Detailed Position Description

  • Lead Validately’s end-to-end user experience, delivering on KPIs and other metrics through data- and customer research–driven design strategies
  • Define and create a design system by establishing workflows, processes, and standards for developing all design systems that scale across our product suite
  • Drive and partner with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing to develop user experience strategy and innovation, as well as plan and execute roadmap initiatives
  • Oversee the development, execution, and improvement of UX strategic plans
  • Contribute UX and design thought-leadership to a highly collaborative team of UX, product, engineering, and marketing professionals with a focus on converting strong conceptual thinking and product strategy to impactful and intuitive experiences
  • Develop systems that monitor and measure the customer experience, business outcomes, and financial impacts
  • Serve as an ambassador for Validately in the broader design community
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, establish, and iterate on scalable processes that ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency
  • You will help validate all the things!

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience working as part of a design team
  • Emotional intelligence and the ability to truly empathize what each individual on your team needs to thrive and feel fulfilled
  • An inspiring portfolio of mobile and web-based projects that highlights your approach to problem solving as well as the solutions themselves
  • A demonstrated ability to lead a project end-to-end and with a cross-functional team
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (both written and oral)
  • Strong interaction design, visual design, prototyping skills, and the ability to help shape product strategy
  • Human-centric, metrics-conscientious approach to designing products
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
  • Fluency in Sketch, Adobe CS, prototyping tools, and Zeplin-like tools
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and thought-leadership
  • A very high level of intellectual curiosity
