Account Executive

What We are Looking For

We want strong performer sales executives who are excited about the opportunity to sell a great product for a startup that just tripled revenue and is also cash flow positive.

We’re looking for extraordinary software/enterprise (SaaS) salespeople with experience selling to large enterprises. You should have experience penetrating new accounts who have never heard of your company before. We are looking for natural leaders that can understand a product and communicate its value to large enterprises.

Senior Product Designer

Manager of Information Security, New York City

Position description

The Director of Information Security will keep appropriate departments up to date on emerging vulnerabilities and newly introduced risks to systems, and secure systems against threats throughout their lifecycle, providing recommendations for enhancing security and adapting to new threats, vulnerabilities, governance, risk, and IT compliance. You’ll report to the CTO.

Requirements/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or technical discipline, or equivalent experience in an IT-related field.
  • 5 years + of experience in the information security field, especially in a security engineering or architecture role, with 2 years of leadership in an information security role within a SaaS organization.
  • Ability to hire and build a team to help implement our security goals
  • Proven experience with current IT security technologies.
  • Demonstrated understanding of technological trends and developments in the areas of information security, risk management, web architectures, and cloud computing.
  • Demonstrated ability to frame security and risk-related concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Ability to put security risks in appropriate business contexts and prioritize security improvements.
  • Professional information security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA

Primary Responsibilities

  • Build and implement a plan for Validately to become compliant with a well known industry security standard such as ISO, SOC, PCI. Ensure Validately maintains ongoing compliance, once certified.
  • Conduct regular technical risk assessments and audits of systems and infrastructure, contractors and vendors.
  • Maintain a risk management program for technology efforts.
  • Develop, maintain and publish security policies, processes, standards and guidelines, and oversee training and distribution of security policies and practices.
  • Provide support to sales team and customers during and after sales cycles.
  • Investigate and document security incidents, including impact analysis.
  • Maintain a current understanding of the IT threat landscape.
  • Ensure compliance with the changing laws and applicable regulations.

Operations Associate

At Validately, our mission is to help teams build products that customers love. We are a rapidly growing SaaS startup that believes the best way to build products is through constant user research. Validately is a UX research tool that makes it easy to talk to users - helping user researchers, UX designers, and product managers build products that customers love.

Our Operations team is looking for an Operations Associate to join us and help the world build better products! Our company is growing quickly and needs a teammate who can deftly handle the everyday functions of our UX research recruiting efforts while keeping higher-level strategic goals in mind. In addition to everyday functions, this position will have the opportunity to shape the future of the Operations team as the team scales.

Key functions

The Operations Associate provides key support to the Director of Customer Success and collaborates with Validately’s Engineering, Product, and Sales teams. The Operations team supports Validately’s clients and panelists during, before, and after their research sessions. The Operations Associate will oversee coordination of all research studies supported by Validately’s panel of paid testers, as well as any custom research studies requested by the client. The Operations Associate will also play a key role in assisting the Director of Customer Success in developing higher-level team strategies for expanding the Panel.

Major duties and responsibilities

Research panel and software backend management:

  • Oversee automatic scheduling of panelists (i.e. testers on our UX research panel) and customers for research studies.
  • Strategize social media ad platforms to recruit participants with profiles that are currently not available on our panel
  • Troubleshoot scheduling errors or miscommunication between panelists and customers
  • Manage 50-80+ simultaneous UX research studies every month

Client management:

  • Act as the first point-of-contact between clients and the operations team
  • Field research study requests and requests from clients
  • Support existing relationships with clients by paying attention to each client’s specific needs, research study history, and working-style.
  • Cultivate new relationships with clients by learning and listening to the client’s needs while balancing team bandwidth.

Strategy:

  • Partner closely with the Product and Engineering teams to develop organization-wide best practices for optimizing Validately’s operations
  • Design processes and organizational infrastructures to ensure effective handling of growing custom panelist recruitment requests

Job qualifications

An strong candidate must have:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience or applicable internship and significant extracurricular leadership experience
  • The ability to manage up effectively. We are a lean team and need a teammate who is unafraid to make speedy decisions and takes a proactive approach to problem-solving!
  • A results-oriented approach with a proven history of managing multiple projects at once
  • The ability to pivot and prioritize as deadlines shift or things change
  • The ability to work and communicate with a sense of urgency, especially within a customer service setting
  • Top-notch writing and communication skills

An ideal candidate also possesses:

  • An interest in SaaS companies and/or UX research

Javascript developer (Poland)

You will work with our existing development team in Poland as Javascript developer. You’ll follow best practices like test driven development, use of workflow tools like Webpack. Existing experience with Javascript is a must for this role and you will have also worked as part of a development team following lean and agile methodologies preferably in a startup environment.

The role is a remote work from home position, but you must be based in Poland to sync up with our development team in Poland.

Backend Javascript developer (Poland)

Validately is a New York based, fast growing tech startup that has tripled in size the past year. We have a fast-paced and fun culture and are looking for driven, self-starters. We value communication and teamwork over isolation, there are no solo individuals in our company.

As the backend Javascript developer at Validately, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining key parts of the Validately product and infrastructure. You’ll show care and passion for coding and be willing be willing to follow our teams code styles and practices. You’ll be a team player and work closely with our engineering team, and participate in daily standup meetings.

You'll be located in Poland, where our development team is located. It's a remote / work from home position, but you must live in Poland.

Test Engineer (Poland)

Validately is a fast growing tech startup that has tripled in size the past year. We have a fast-paced and fun culture and are looking for driven, self-starters.

As the Test Engineer at Validately, you will be responsible for testing our product by integration and manual tests. As the job progress you'll be responsible for monitor and improve the quality of iOS, Android and web apps in collaboration with our team of developers, designers and product experts. Define relevant tests and execute them for new and existing features. Keep an overview of bugs and help us enhance/prioritize them in collaboration with developers and our support team.

You'll be located in Poland, where our development team is located. It's a remote / work from home position, but you must live in Poland.
